Two needle, four thread, up-the-arm plain feed chainstitch machine for taping over collar and shoulder seams on knit shirts made of light to medium weight material. Presser foot is fitted with folder that takes 19mm tape and finishes to 9.5mm width. Includes tape reel and tension bracket.

Also available: 31200AQ64Z6.
Same as above, but without presser foot.

Tape Cutter Device
Responding to requests from knit shirt manufacturers, the sewing engineers at Union Special have unveiled a prototype tape cutter for the 31200. It’s a pneumatically operated, scissors-type cutter that installs easily on the machine.
