80800 - Columns and Feed-In Devices

Selecting the RIGHT bag closing equipment to fit you needs is fast, easy and accurate.

Using the chart below, here’s how to do it:

1. Pick the closure you want to make; either plain or tape-bound.

2. Determine whether you need a standard or automatic sewing head.

3. Select the type of bag material.

4. Choose the column.

5. Add a feed-in-device, if necessary.

Example:

Let’s say you want to make plain closures on either paper or synthetic fibers using a standard head.  You would use Style 80800C.  You also decide that a manual column height adjustment is sufficient because all of the bags are the same size.  Following the chart to the right from 80800C, you see the US100 column as your selection and that a feed-in-device is not necessary.  But let’s say you want to increase production with the same plain sewn closure.  The Style 80800R will do the same job at a significantly increased speed using the GBR29905G feed-in-device with a US300 column.
