LOCKSTITCH CLASS 300

Training covers Class 300 Lockstitch machines. (Machines with

Bobbins)

Classes can run from 1 to 5 days

 

The Lockstitch 300 class covers the various machines that utilize sewing machine needles and hooks and bobbins for forming the stitch. Emphasis is put on the repairs of hooks, the major timings and adjustments to the sewing area and thread trimming knives as well as thread controls, tension adjustments, maintenance, trouble shooting and sewing techniques.

 

Included in this class are:

 

Single and double needle plain feed and needle feed machines

Single and double needle compound walking foot machines

Zig zag machines

Cylinder bed and post machines

Single and double needle long arm machines

Bar Tacker machines

 

Approximately 20% of the course is spent in the classroom, where students are trained on basic stitch types, needles, threads, the stitch formation, and the machine adjusting, maintenance and trouble shooting specifications.

 

Approximately 80% of the course is spent in the training lab, where students learn to put to use the information learned in the classroom, as well as disassemble, assemble, adjust, sew-off and troubleshoot a particular machine style or class.
